A 9-Month Journey

As we celebrated our first Sunday in Nipomo, we thanked God for each of you, our family and friends. We are not alone! Thank you for praying for us! We begin tearing out carpet this Saturday on our new home, then it is paint, lay down new floors, etc. etc. Lots to do before we can move in!

We need volunteers to help tear out carpet and haul it off this Saturday, April 10.
We need volunteers to clean, prepare, and paint every interior wall the week of April 12.
We need volunteers to lay vinyl flooring planks really really soon.

We need people who can paint cabinets, tear apart bathrooms and rebuild them (including a bathtub in the master bath), put up a real backyard fence for our kids, install a pocket door downstairs, do some landscaping out front and put in new windows throughout the house. But these things will all take time. And money.

For now, we’re just happy to get some of the basics taken care of so these kiddos and their pregnant momma can have a place to move into! And we are delighted to have a place to call home.

If you are someone who knows how to work with wood, isn’t afraid to get dirty, and can even bring people to help you, we would love to have your help. Or maybe you just want to sponsor a bucket of paint or a few square feet of flooring. If so, God bless you!

Would you consider joining us on a 9-month journey? We are in need of just a handful of monthly supporters to commit to helping us financially through December of this year.

We need about $3000 a month to cover our basic needs as a family. Our little church is generously giving us the parsonage plus $1000 a month through December, then they will be taking me on in a more full-time role in 2022, Lord willing. So, it is crucial that we raise support to cover at least these next nine months.
