🍍 Aloha! We just spent 10 days in beautiful Kauai thanks to the goodness of God and the hard work of our kids!
🥁 Our kids have been saving for this trip for about 2 1/2 years, earning money through a boba/lemonade stand and Kade’s hard work playing drums and guitar at the Pismo Beach Pier.
✈️ We helped a guy win a grand prize vacation package for Southwest Airlines about 7 years ago. (He wasn’t present when they announced his name so we contacted him on FB before the timer ran out for him to show up.) He won several things but gave us the Southwest points portion of his prize. We have been saving those miles for a vacation. 😊
🏝️ Michael’s mom let us use her timeshare on Kauai and a couple friends have given us some spending money, too. But everything else the kids paid for!
🌴 We are blessed. We are so proud of the kids for working so hard to make this possible and our church family for letting us be away for a Sunday!
🏄🏻♂️ The kids all went surfing, including 3mo Kruz getting on a surfboard for his first time! 3 of our kids caught the wave of their life (personal best) at Hanalei Bay.
❤️ Our good friends and travel buddies, the Russell family, joined us and made it all that much more fun!
