Kade (13yo) catches the wave of his life
About a quarter mile off the beach break in Hanalei Bay is a legit surf spot with a reef break. Michael and Kade both paddled out but Kade was the winner for sure and caught it with this POV shot from the action camera carried with a mouth mount. This was a monster wave in a terrifying new spot but he nailed it.

Megan (10yo) paddled onto a bunch of great waves in the shallow beach break of Hanalei Bay and so did Kody (6yo). They each caught the wave of their life out there, but this is one of the few Mommy caught on video from the beach. (September 2024)
