What’s up dudes! It’s Kade! I want to share my experience at pismo beach with you! Me and my dad went on what we call a surfcation together at Pismo. It was so awesome! It is where I learned to surf. My highlight was the pier. It was amazing. After many attempts I was able to “shoot the pier” which is basically surfing under it. Despite the cold water, we still had a lot of fun surfing together. I bought two surfboards before our trip. My favorite one is my fishtail shortboard. It was especially good because it had a lot of float to it. I would totally recommend it for beginners. We also brought these cool little “surfer dudes.” They are little toys designed to be thrown into the water so they can catch waves! They are so fun! Make sure to check out the pics and videos from our trip!! Catch ya later!
Our mom loves the beach and loves taking us there. But, she rarely gets time to enjoy it. She is always busy keeping track of everyone, making sure they have sunscreen, making sure Kody is not eating too much sand, :p and taking pictures of us all. So, it was fun to see her out in the water. It was a great time for her to learn because we were in San Diego and the warmer water met her standards. Plus, the beach we went to had nice smaller waves. Mommy had boogie boarded before, but never tried surfing, so it was so fun to see her try for the first time. And besides, it’s not very often you see a mom in her… *ahem* late 30’s try out a new sport. But she did great. We had lots of fun surfing as a family. 🙂
Hey! It’s Kade again! Our family loves San Diego. Especially, because that’s where my mom learned how to surf. And, we have friends there. My friend has a similar board to the one I have at home. On our most recent visit we went to the beach A LOT and every time we went, there were smaller waves. We also would have a little surfing competitions. I won a couple, but it wasn’t my best work. To be honest, I believe that God planned for those small waves to be there at the exact time that our family went. It made me a little more confident in surfing. Make sure to contact us about some of your stories! That’s it for now, see ya!
